Dinners, rent, the taxi home. Mintoo keeps a running balance with every friend, so nobody has to remember and nobody has to ask twice.

Five verbs. That's the whole app.

Everything money between friends needs, from the first payment to the last euro owed.

Split

Paid for dinner? Split it.

Add what you paid, pick who was there, and Mintoo works out every share. No money moves until someone settles up.

Balances

Always know who owes whom. And for what.

Payments, requests and expenses add up to one running balance with each friend. Every item keeps its symbol and your note, so “what was the €12.40 for?” answers itself.

  • Lend or give

Mark a payment as a loan and Mintoo remembers it's owed back. Mark it as a gift and nobody owes anything.

  • Send to an email address

Friend not on Mintoo yet? Send to their email. The money waits for them until they join.

  • Face ID from €500

From €500, Mintoo asks for Face ID or your fingerprint before the money moves.

  • Sign in your way

Apple, Google, a code by email or a passkey. No password to remember.

  • Arrives in seconds

No waiting for the next working day. A payment shows up for your friend while you're still at the table.

  • Notes and symbols

Every payment, request and expense can carry a note. Mintoo suggests a symbol from what you type.

Is Mintoo a bank?

No. Mintoo is an app for sending euros to friends. Your balance is EURC, an e-money token issued by Circle Internet Financial Europe SAS, and it's held in your own wallet. EURC isn't a bank deposit and isn't covered by deposit insurance. How Mintoo works

Who can move my money?

Only you. Every payment is approved on your own device, and from €500 Mintoo also asks for Face ID or your fingerprint. Mintoo never holds your money.

Is it real money yet?

Not yet. Mintoo is in a closed beta. Balances are test money on a test network. They have no value and can't be cashed out. Everything else works the way it will with real euros.

What does it cost?

There's no Mintoo fee to send, request or receive money during the beta. Any other fee is always shown before you confirm. Fees

How do I add money or cash out to my bank?

Adding money by bank transfer and identity verification are coming soon. They'll be provided by a licensed verification and payments partner, which we'll name here before they start. Cashing out to your bank is coming soon too. Fees

What if my friend isn't on Mintoo?

Send to their email address. The money waits for them until they join with that email, and then shows up in your chat with them.

How do balances work?

Every payment, request and expense with a friend adds up to one balance: who owes whom, how much and for what. Settle it with one payment, or mark it as paid in cash. Adding an expense doesn't move any money.

How much can I send?

Before identity verification, up to €150 per payment and €1,000 per 30 days. Higher limits after identity verification, once offered.

Who can use Mintoo?

People aged 18 and over who live in the European Economic Area. Mintoo isn't available in sanctioned countries. Countries

What if I send money to the wrong person?

Payments can't be reversed, so Mintoo shows who you're paying before you confirm. If it happens, ask them to send it back, or contact us. Complaints
